What is BPA?
Business Professionals of America is a national student
organization composed of state associations and local chapters
serving persons pursuing careers in business and office
occupations as well as former members. This organization provides
the opportunity for the development of leadership skills, personal
and professional growth, and career related competencies.
Involvement in Business Professionals of America will enhance
social awareness, civic responsibility, and understand of business
community.
Purposes
Develop student leadership
Improve poise, sociability, attitude, and tact
Develop competence in business and office occupations
Promote better understanding of local, state, and national levels
Promote student ambition for useful purposes
Learn to plan effectively
Develop an enthusiasm for learning and for remaining knowledgeable
in the business and office fields

Congratulations to the following students who competed in the Business Professionals of America National Leadership Conference on May 7-11, 2008, at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada: Daniel Mongiove & Jordan Shih 6th in the nation for Software Engineering Team. Charna Blake & Ashlei Hodges successfully completed the 2008 National Leadership Academy.
