And Helps All-Star Team To Victory At Fenway

Senior catcher Tony Caldwell knows what it's like to be part of a winning team. After helping lead Auburn to the 2010 SEC Tournament and an NCAA regional appearance, Caldwell was given the opportunity to play for the Wareham Gatemen in the Cape Cod Baseball League.
Caldwell took full advantage of his opportunity over the summer to improve his game and was recently invited to play in the Cape Cod League All-Star Game at Fenway Park in Boston, Mass. Fenway Park is home to the Boston Red Sox, and Caldwell says having the chance to play in that atmosphere was an experience like no other.
"It was a terrific experience. It was the most fun baseball game of probably my entire life," said Caldwell. "I feel like I played well in it and showed my talent. Just thinking about how many great ballplayers have played in that park, it was just the best feeling ever." Click for the complete story. |
