Student athletes are expected to be competitive in the classroom as well as on the cross-country course. “NO D’S or F’S”

As the Dean of Students I will review your grades periodically.

Be on time to practice! Practice will begin sharply at 2:45 P.M.- 4:15 P.M. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

Each Wednesday is different due to scheduled or unscheduled staff meetings. Students will be informed of practice time for Wednesday the day before.

There will be Saturday morning practices in preparation for the upcoming season.

If you are late to practice due to an academic assignment or training room issue please bring a note or you will be considered late which will result in push-ups!

Practice hard and compete hard!

No cursing or using profane language. The result will be the team doing push-ups.

No WHINING or NEGATIVE thoughts or sayings, because it can destroy the chemistry and success of the team.

If you are caught drinking alcoholic beverages, drugs, or any tobacco product you will be kicked off the team. PLEASE NO DISCIPLINE REFERRALS!

On Friday nights you must be home by 10:00 P.M. due to early Saturday morning competition.

All student athletes must ride the team bus on Saturday mornings. Meet time is 6:20 A.M. on the bus ramp.

NO CLUB RUNNING ADVICE OR COACHING DURING THE SEASON!

No powder-puff football participation! Please allow the non-athletic and non-spot light students on campus an opportunity to play.

We encourage you and your parents to purchase a Cross-Country T-Shirt, which will be worn every Friday and also to all meets to promote team spirit.

All athletes are expected to participate in our yearly one-hour challenge run. The funds are used to cover entry fees.
