Mike Kintz Head Coach & Special Teams Coordinator

Entering his fifth year at Winter Springs HS and now serving as Head Coach and Special Teams Coordinator. Prior to coming to Winter Springs, Coach Kintz served as the DB’s coach for two years at Eastlake, Ohio . He is also a graduate of Bowling Green State University with a Bachelors of Science in Education.

Colin Sample Line Backers

Coach Sample graduated from Ohio University where he majored in Chemistry and Earth Science Education. He is entering his 14th year of coaching, 12 of those years have been at the varsity level. He has coached in Pennsylvania & coached here in Florida at New Smyrna Beach , Freedom and Lake Mary High Schools . He is married to the former Dr. AnaLynn Jones. Go Bears!

Curtis White Defensive Line

Coach White is a graduate of the University of Florida where he received his therapy degree. Coach White played football for the Gators and then spent two years playing football professionally as a defensive back. He is entering his fifth year as an assistant football and track coach at Winter Springs HS. Coach White is married to his wife Delaine, they have four children, Coach White’s oldest son, Kyle is attending FAMU, and graduated from WSHS in 2005. They have three other children; Camron, Brandon and Teigha.

Raleigh Sims Kickers /

Coach Sims is joining the Winter Springs High School Bears Football Program this year as the Special Teams coordinator, and specialist to the kickers and punters. Coach Sims brings his kicking knowledge to the BEARS in high hopes of a successful and productive year.

Mike Hesselbart Wide Receivers

Coach Hesselbart is entering his 9th year with the Bears working with the Wide Receivers. Coach Hesselbart attended Manatee High School where he played Wide Receiver for the Hurricanes. He then went on to Muskingum College, New Concord for a year where he played wide receiver for the Muskies. Coach Hesselbart is looking to complete his degree in Education and continue coaching.

Matt Hesselbart Assistant Head Coach/Offensive Line

Entering his 12th season as Offensive Line coach and third as Offensive Coordinator and Assistant Head Coach at Winter Springs HS. Prior to coming to Winter Springs, Coach Hesselbart served as Offensive Line Coach for Div. III Muskingum College, in New Concord, Ohio for two seasons. He is a graduate from Div. IAA University of Evansville, Evansville, Indiana; where he was a four year starter at Offensive Guard for the Purple Aces, and received his Business Administration degree. Matt is married to his wife Maria; they have a 4 year old daughter, Hanna.
