Varsity Football Players Signing
Senior Johnathan Jones signed with the The Apprentice School to play football. The Apprentice School is part of the Northrop Grumman Shipbuilding Division in Newport News, VA. He begin this July and play Linebacker for the NCAA Division III Builders. Go Bears!
Seniors Kyle Tran and Bacarrie Washington signed with the Maritime College of New York to play football. They will enroll this fall and play defensive back and wide reciever for the NCAA Division III Privateers. Go Bears!
Cain Elliott ( FIU )and Cory Oberst ( Naval Academy ). Cain and Cory signed full scholarships for football to their respective school of choice.
Al Terek McBurse was faced with some hard decisions this season but he chose wisely on Wednesday when he decided to continue his football career at Purdue University. McBurse set the single season rushing record for Seminole County this year and thrilled crowds with touchdown runs of over 50 yards all season long. He will graduate at the end of this semester and enroll at Purdue in January. "ATM" will be missed by the Bear faithful but he will continue the legacy of football players playing in the college ranks.
