Here is the first bit of information for our upcoming 2010 Girls and Boys Water Polo Season:
1. I need a team administrator ASAP to replace Wendy Mammino. This means daily emails & communications and being my weekly (or more) laison to the school and parents. If you are interested, please contact me by email or phone (407-761-4818 cell). There are things we need to get started working on relatively quickly.
2. 1st official day of practice is Monday February 1, 2010. You MUST have your PHYSICALS & PAPERWORK into the school and be CLEARED to practice before then. Really, really try to get that taken care of before you go on Christmas break because we may try to start conditioning in January. If you are currently swimming for Coach Ross or playing another sport then you have taken care of this, but if you aren't currently in a sport you need to do this before you can practice.
3. We will be practicing and playing our home games at the Oviedo Aquatic Center again this year. Practice and game times will be pretty much the same as last year EXCEPT that we are not being allowed to play Friday night games this season. That severely limits our # of games and means we will have to travel to other pools this year to get in the 12 - 14 game range, so be prepared to travel this season.
