Student Services Summer Update

Greetings Students, Parents, and Stakeholders!
Counselors have started their summer vacations, and their individual emails will not be monitored until August 5th. The summer email that will be used by the Counselor on Duty during the month of June is wshs_guidance@scps.k12.fl.usThe wshs_guidance@scps.k12.fl.us mailbox will only be monitored by the counselor on duty during the weeks of June 2nd - June 26th from 7:30 to 1 pm. Please click on the link to see the schedule for the counselor on duty. After June 25th, please email your counselor starting August 5th for questions or concerns.
On August 6th and August 7th, counselors will accept walk-in appointments from 8 am to 11 am in the Student Services Department.
For Ms. Durand’s alpha, this is her availability-August 6th 10-11am and August 7th is 8:30-11am.

For SCVS/FLVS approvals: The SCVS Ambassadors are a centralized team of school counselors in the district. The SCVS Ambassador team is responsible for contacting families, discussing Seminole County Virtual School's benefits, and approving course requests in the Virtual School Approvals and eCampus. This summer’s team will begin processing requests on June 2, 2024, through August 2, 2024. To confirm your virtual entity and/or course selection, a SCPS Counselor (Ambassador) will reach out to you via email or phone (Google Voice Number: (407) 602-5232) prior to approval.
Reminder for incoming 9th graders with Virtual School Classes: If you have taken a virtual school course before, please login to your FLVS account, go into your account settings, and change your zoned school to Winter Springs High School. This is the only way we will be able to access your completed virtual school courses.
Class of 2025 Seniors: Be sure to order your final transcript to go to your college/university. The transcripts will be ready the third week of June. Click Here: Transcript Order Form
Please note that we are not accepting schedule change requests via email or phone. We have closed the course change request Google Form. However, later in the summer students will receive a Google Form link to request a schedule change for the 25-26 school year.
